A video involving a past interaction at our church has been circulating online and has raised concerns within our community. At Second Reformed Church, part of our mission is to be rooted in Christ's teachings on compassion, support, and service to all, including those experiencing homelessness. We take this matter seriously and continue to review our policies to ensure they align with our values to creating a safe, welcoming environment to everyone.

The well-being and safety of our community members, staff, and visitors remains our top priority. We appreciate the feedback we've received and are committed to taking steps toward better serving those in need within our community. We have also received threats to church staff and families, as well as threats to partner organizations using the building. We ask for grace as we navigate this sensitive matter.
